AUTOMOTIVENETS Pre-Conference Work shop & Study Tour Description

The purpose of the workshop is to bring attendees up-to-date with examples of successful interregional and inter-sectoral partnerships and EU funding opportunities supporting cooperation and innovation in the automotive sector in South-East Europe. The program will include presentations showing important technical, economic and social advantages of using new technologies, transfer of knowledge and good practices from European projects to industry and from one region to another. This international workshop should be of interest to those associated with the automotive industry, design and materials engineers, industry and private practice, engineering faculty and students, researchers and EU and regional policy makers. The program will cover AUTOCLUSTERS project achievements, clustering case histories from project countries, as well as the latest initiatives in boosting the innovation in Europe. Handout materials will be provided.
